GCG Engineering Services Responds To The Post COVID Challenges
The big challenge for the UAE market over the coming year in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak will be dealing with the paradox of government stimulus spending, coupled with a drive to cut costs and project spending.

In this challenging environment, firms will have to be smart if they are to prosper. Selecting the right clients, specializing in niche sectors, and introducing novel technologies are tools companies can harness to stay ahead of the competition.
Although there are undoubtedly challenges in the short term, the long-term prognosis is still healthy. Regardless of what happens, the UAE market will remain one of the region’s largest projects-markets.
The pipeline of projects in the UAE sits at more than $672bn. Of this total, $417.7bn is for construction projects, $82.9bn for transport projects, and $95.3bn in Oil & Gas. The pipeline consists of $63.7bn of bidding projects, $492.9bn in design for front-end engineering and design (feed), and $114.8bn for under study. (Source: Meed Projects).

“Data-driven insights will define the roadmap of future economies.”
In 2021, GCG Engineering Services will showcase its bench strength in Automation and utilize company resources to commission the ongoing ADNOC Onshore projects, based on GE and HIMA automation technology. An opportunity exists out of the scarcity of specialized resources for Industrial Automation due to international travel restrictions and On-shore projects.
Our initiative to put up a Project Management Organization (PMO) ensured successful delivery of the projects during the lockdown period.
Timely delivery of the projects increased the trust of end-users, including ADNOC, ENOC and ETIMAD. They recognized the contribution of GCG ES by awarding certificates of appreciation.
GCG Engineering Services is confident to continue with the same spirit and enthusiasm to make 2021 a successful year.
